The Corner
DiscoveryThe following images are intended to serve as creative inspiration for the branding of The Corner, a bar and restaurant in Sag Harbor, NY.
The goal of this exercise is to identify visuals we’re drawn to for the purpose of branding The Corner, as well as things that might not work. This way once we begin design, we’re working with the proper inspiration in mind.
Across these references you’ll notice a visual language rooted in East Coast maritime culture and classic coastal hospitality. Many of the examples draw from vintage yacht clubs, seaside hotels, fishing clubs, and traditional American restaurant brandings— featuring crests, flags, nautical illustrations and more. There’s a strong sense of heritage and simplicity throughout—marks that feel established, materials that feel tactile, and graphics that balance refinement with an easygoing coastal character.
